The role
The Salesforce Architect will work with the Director, Salesforce Platform and Salesforce administration team in support of all Salesforce-related tasks. This role must excel at designing scalable Salesforce architectures and have a strategic vision for integrating CRM solutions into the broader organization framework The Salesforce Architect must be able to identify, design, build, test and deploy solutions related to Salesforce, as well as related applications and systems. They will be the subject matter expert of all things Salesforce, and must have the skills to reverse engineer a project to give the business what they truly need. This role will be responsible for mentoring, promoting architectural principles, and leading initiatives that align Salesforce solutions with business objectives. The work that they will be responsible for completing will drive innovation and process improvements across the organization.
Where you'll work
This is a remote role.
What you'll be doing
Act as technical subject matter expert in discussions with stakeholders, keeping best practices and company objectives in mind.
Create and maintain documentation on architectural principles being implemented.
Provide leadership in all phases of a project, including but not limited to requirements gathering, solution design, system build, solution deployment and user training.
Build and manage multiple project plans and schedules.
Mentor Salesforce Administrators, guiding them in problem-solving and technical excellence.
Troubleshoot, resolve and track Salesforce end-user issues.
Create and manage objects, fields, flows, Apex Classes and Triggers, Lightning Components and documentation to support ongoing initiatives.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
8-10 years in Salesforce technical experience across multiple Clouds- Sales, Service, Experience, etc.
3-5 years of experience in a technical lead position
Data Architect and Platform App Builder certified preferred
Additional Certifications highly desirable (MuleSoft, Platform Developer I, Advanced Admin, CompTIA etc.)
Experience with MuleSoft and Anypoint Studio highly desired
Experience with Salesforce Voice highly desired.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario
Technical scope requirements gathering skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats on a technical and business level depending on audience
High-level of interpersonal & customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
