Junior IT Helpdesk Technician

ShiftMed, a leading nursing jobs platform, is seeking a Junior IT Helpdesk Technician to assist the IT Support Manager in technical tasks for employee onboarding and support. This hybrid role in McLean, VA requires problem-solving skills and strong organizational abilities.

Skills

Experience in help desk support or technical analyst role
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
Knowledge of WiFi troubleshooting, mobile device management
Proficiency in ticketing systems and software suites like Windows, MacOS, G Suite, Office Suite

Responsibilities

Distribute new employee technical setups for Windows and Mac devices
Utilize Microsoft suite products for account management and administration
Provide VoIP telephony support and call management
Triage technical support requests and resolve issues remotely
Manage asset inventory and vendor relationships

Education

Bachelor’s Degree, Associates Degree or working towards
