Essential Functions
- Assist supervisor with managing a large distribution line in order to achieve department goals
- Operate software related to managing the distribution line such as AMP console and Pick line manager
- Interpret reports such as inventory reports in order to make process management decisions
- Assist with training and other onboarding tasks for new employees
- Insure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Insure compliance with company safety policies and procedures

Additional Responsibilities

- As part of the distribution team each employee is required to cross train and demonstrate competency on all essential job functions of the department, including learning error correction procedures etc.
- Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to learn to use and interpret computer various applications
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; lift overhead; climb or balance; stoop, or crouch; talk or hear.
- The employee must exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
- May be required to pass a pre-employment lift test and physical.
