WHAT WE OFFER
This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities in ensuring outgoing orders are shipped in timely manner & that incoming material is stored in an organized manner.
Major Responsibilities:

Identify the material to be shipped (in the case of custom orders, verify the production count). Execute stock transfer and or direct customer delivery in SAP, affix label to shipment. Accurate releases from inventory, refer to Stock Transfer Order (from SAP) for material to be pulled from stock inventory. Material is located by product code and HU number placed on a skid, The Stock Transfer Order is signed indicating that it has been pulled by one material handler and checked by another.

Additionally, all shipments and materials movements will be confirmed directly in SAP via computer terminal. Timely verification and receipt of incoming shipments is also done in SAP.

Receive instruction from Supervisor on unloading and storage of materials. Unloading is performed by forklift.

Load trucks with customer’s orders when carriers arrive.

Prepare orders for shipment and receive incoming material and store in an organized manner, Pack orders for shipment, Load trucks for shipment when the carrier arrives, and unloads trucks and store materials. Also responsible for storing produced materials in finished goods storage area. Responsible to conduct periodic cycle count of warehouse physical inventory.

Store previous day’s production in an orderly manner and assists in maintaining inventory records. Perform physical checks to ensure inventory accuracy, including entry of cycle count reconciliation into SAP using computer terminal.

Administer the daily paperwork flow for all shipments entering and exiting the warehouse.

Ensures accurate and timely entry of receipts of incoming raw materials and packaging into SAP system.

Delivers material to external customers and to the production department in a timely and consistent manner

Ensures accurate and timely shipments of outgoing finished goods

Ensures that outward appearance, neatness, and packaging meets customer requirements
Safety

Follows company guidelines and actively participate in all safety processes.

Ensure that Safety and Health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities.

Carry out job/area specific housekeeping standards.

Look for and report near hits and unsafe conditions or behaviors.
WHAT YOU OFFER
Basic Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipping/receiving environment

Forklift Certification required may be obtained onsite
Preferred Qualifications:
-
5 years in a manufacturing setting
-
SAP experience
Knowledge and Skills:
-
Possess good math skills for pulling orders and confirming Bills of Lading.

Computer skills with Microsoft office and basic data entry skills.

Ability to prioritize as multiple demands may be placed on the incumbent simultaneously (e.g., Preparing shipments & Unloading trucks)

Physically challenging: must be able to routinely life and carry up to 50 lbs of weight, climb stairs, lift and pull 10lbs of weight in the overhead position, work in ambient room temperature of 100 degrees, and work safely around numerous hot surfaces
