Our location in Columbus, OH currently has an opportunity for a Distribution Center Shipping Clerk. With state-of-the-art equipment and advanced automation, you will work with a team that’s dedicated to nourish the world.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Ensure adequate supply of Driver Inspection and Trailer Inspection sheets
• Make copies of Point of Entry Attestation Forms
• Fill all printers with paper
• Organize load sheets with Driver Inspection and Trailer Inspection Sheets and pre-fill blank
• Check-In Drivers
• Write down check-in time
• Obtain trailer and truck numbers
• Complete Clerk’s sections of Driver Inspection Sheet and place facing down in the back of packet
• Assign driver to dock door
• Assign Dock Door to Load in Cambar, Ship Orders tab, Pick Confirmation
• Make copy of load for fork lift driver
• Assign load to fork lift driver
• Update Truck Information in Cambar, Shipping tab, Ship Pool Maintenance
• Complete Execution Status, Modify Load in BluJay
• Fill time in for Execution status, Close Load in BluJay
• Fill in Date and Time for In Gate and Dock In in the BluJay Execution, Appointment Scheduling.
• Print Billing for Loads
  • Verify “Update Truck Information” is correct in Cambar, Shipping tab, Ship Pool Maintenance
  • Print BOL in Cambar, Shipping tab, Ship Pool Maintenance, Options tab
  • Place 3 Memorandum sheets into shipping envelope with assigned seal and hand off to fork lift loader
• Check-Out Drivers
  • Ask Driver to complete Driver Inspection Sheet Information, and sign both stapled Bill of Lading packets
  • Enter date and time in Out Gate of BluJay, Execution, Appointment Schedule
  • Enter date and time into Departure box in BluJay, Execution, Close Load
  • Dispatch Shipment in Cambar, Shipping tab, Ship Pool Maintenance
  • Enter number of pallets on top BOL sheet, including Peco Pallets (highlight)

Miscellaneous: Duties

• Maintain office supplies. Order supplies from Staples if needed
• Keep office area neat and organized
• Unpack/put away any incoming office supply orders and discard all packaging materials
• Release stage lanes as they become available to fulfill daily load orders

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

• High School Diploma / GED
• Microsoft Office experience
• Warehouse database knowledge
