Application Support Specialist

SHOPFLIX is seeking a dedicated Application Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a vital point of contact for our users, ensuring that all application-related issues are addressed promptly and efficiently. You will be responsible for troubleshooting application problems, ensuring application functionality, and improving user experience.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and design
  • Document application issues and resolutions to help streamline support processes.
  • Assist in implementing application updates and enhancements based on user feedback.
  • Conduct training sessions for users to improve application usage.
  • Monitor application performance and identify potential improvements.
  • Respond to support requests via email, phone, or chat in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required, e.g., Customer Support agents, Content creators, Seller support, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Application Support Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity in SQL and with programming languages.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and support tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
