The Role:


As a Designer/Product Developer (Trend), you’ll be at the heart of bringing on-trend, eye-catching designs to life from concept through to production. Collaborating closely with our design team, you’ll turn fresh inspiration into high-quality, stylish garments that our customers adore. You'll also keep an eye on budgets and revenue targets, ensuring we deliver beautiful fashion that’s both accessible and unforgettable!


Day to day, you will:
  • Translate visions provided by Trend Forecaster into workable directions for the team including colour palette, print direction & fabric direction. 
  • Source and develop/design exciting speed to market, on brand pieces to drive growth of your categories.
  • Proven eye for trend, colour, fabric, fit, construction & knowledge of the market 
  • Able to analyse and interpret reporting including best/worst sellers reports, category analysis, print analysis, etc.
  • Apply data driven decision making for future product developments 
  • Ability to provide both monthly & seasonal trend reports. 
  • Manage & Mentor an assistant, with the intent that the assistant will have a full understanding of the Design role for future promotions 
  • Strong technical knowledge with a focus on product quality, fit & improvements, Customer centric mentality displayed in all thinking & execution of product . Ensure all products are delivered to fit, quality & making standards.
  • Create detailed tech packs with specifications.
  • Managing Critical Path of work, ensuring all design, delivery & launch deadlines and requirements are met. 
  • Delivering a commercial range that meets all targets for margin & assortment. 


Who are you?
  • Experience as a product developer / designer with similar women's wear brand 
  • A keen eye for Trend Design
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Organised, team player with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and be flexible to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide leadership, supervision and direction to peers in apparel development  
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work autonomously and unsupervised


It would be great if you had:
  • Experience working within fast-fashion retail
  • Experience in eCommerce/pure-play online business
  • The ability to identify with the Showpo girl - her interests, needs, wants etc 
  • Experience using Illustrator and Photoshop
