True Residential – A luxury refrigeration brand with commercial DNA has an excellent opportunity for a customer focused individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity. The True Experience Center Showroom Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at our showroom in the Architects & Designers Building in NY. This individual will be responsible for managing guest relations and working with management and sales/marketing teams to create a World Class experience with the True Residential brand.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales leads and collaborate with the local sales team.
- Assist consumers and/or trade professionals with design solutions for their project, as requested.
- Support the local market representatives with sales efforts within the architect, designer, remodeler, and retailer/dealer community as needed.
- Conduct trainings, executive showroom tours, and product knowledge presentations.
- Ability to plan and execute showroom events, including list development, vendor coordination and event hosting.
- Work with management to develop a business plan to ensure that there is continuous growth of traffic within the Showroom.
- Work with management to identify and execute creative solutions for attracting specific audiences and demographics to the Showroom, such as CEU presentations, tours, etc.
- Manage the overall look and brand experience in the Showroom, including sample and marketing literature inventory.
- Work closely with marketing group to track and manage leads from the Showroom.
- Build and maintain beneficial relationships with building management and aligned showrooms.
- Engage in sales calls and report metrics on a regular basis.
- Prioritize business needs across all departments and clearly communicate to those individuals.
- Integrate into local trade industry organizations as needed and remain educated on design trends.
- Greet and attend to guests and provide information to better help homeowners and trade customers understand the benefits of True Residential.
- Assist the local market representatives with sales efforts within the architect and design community as needed.
- Manage Salesforce input for tracking in an efficient and detailed manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field required.
- Four or more years of experience in a retail or showroom management position required.
- Experience in commercial/residential interior design industry a plus.
- Hospitality experience a plus.
- Microsoft Office programs, Salesforce or similar CRM, Adobe Suite considered a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and superior presentation skills.
- Retail showroom or event management experience.

- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Excellent organizational skills, critical thinking, as well as the ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks.
