Signarama Redmond: Signs and Graphics Production / Installer / Installation Specialist

SIGNARAMA REDMOND, a member of the world’s largest network of independently-owned sign companies, is seeking a motivated Sign and Graphics Production/Installation Intern to fill up our Production and Installation department. We strive to be our clients’ strongest brand advocate as the full-service specialist in custom-design, building and installing sign and graphics solutions and this role plays a critical part in helping fulfill that mission.

This role is responsible for supporting our Production and Installation Lead to ensure the proper preparation, planning, installation and post-installation inspections.

Sign and Graphics Installer / Installation Specialist Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare for installation projects of signage and graphics projects.
• Work with Production Manager to coordinate with Design and Sales for proper completion of projects.
• Accurately install signage and graphics following approved customer design and project scope.
• Engage with customer onsite to evaluate unanticipated concerns and resolve to customer satisfaction.
• Take good quality photos of completed projects for post-installation records.
• Ensuring proper clean-up of work environment post-installation.
• Manage installation equipment, tools and supplies to ensure availability of supplies whenever needed.
• Maintain safe working environments at all times.

Sign and Graphics Installer / Installation Specialist Requirements:

• Strong focus on positive outcomes for customers during signage and graphics installations.
• Demonstrate good judgement during signage and graphics installation – taking appropriate consideration towards safety, accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Strong knowledge in handling self-adhesive vinyl and application on a variety of surfaces.
• Strong knowledge in handyman and light construction projects. Must be familiar with the use of power tools, fasteners, adhesive and quality finishing.
• Able to work after-office hours as required by projects and/or customers.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to use computers and technology to perform job functions efficiently.
• Must be a team player.

Sign and Graphics Installer / Installation Specialist Compensation:

• Sign and Graphics Installation Specialist is a full-time position.
• Compensation includes base pay plus additional performance-based commission.
• Base Salary ranges from $18 to $23 per hour plus PTO.

COVID-19 considerations:
All customer visits require face mask, frequent hand sanitizer usage and following customers safety protocols. Remote customer meetings are options using Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Shop safety includes face masks, consistent cleaning of office and common areas.
