Sr Data Engineer

SimpliSafe is a high-tech home security company seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their growing team. This role involves designing and building a robust Data Platform to enhance security solutions.

Skills

Experience with AWS or another cloud environment
Proficiency in Python
Familiarity with orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow
Knowledge of network protocols like HTTPS and SFTP
Experience in scalable system design

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, deploy, monitor, and support new and existing modules of the Data Platform
Collaborate with internal engineering teams, analysts, and data scientists
Work with external companies to enhance data and analytics
Optimize SQL for various relational databases
Engage in all stages of development from idea to deployment

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
