Principal Solution Strategist (Salesforce)

Advisory Services | Remote - USBTS seeks a Principal Solution Strategist for its Salesforce practice (Simplus) in North America.As a Solution Strategist at Simplus you will be responsible for various pre and post-sales activities; project delivery; and practice development. Some of your responsibilities will include:• Designing advanced and integrated solutions to enable client success• Creating clear deliverables and innovative solutions (Sales, Service, Experience clouds) in an organized SOW• Maintaining and developing relationships with key partners, clients and industry contacts• Properly demonstrate and present custom solutions based on the Salesforce platform and ecosystem• Pre-Sale - retaining knowledge of our professional services and suite of capabilities in order to successfully present and market our solutions and services (travel as needed (minimal))• Post-Sale - maintaining client and project team contact to review solution creation and implementation; provide support as a primary POC and resident expert; assist in the development of re-usable assets (for client and Simplus)Essential FunctionsOur ideal candidate has a proven track record in professional services, strong Salesforce background (Sales, Service & Experience Cloud preferred), is tech savvy and is self-motivated.This is a dynamic client-facing role in which you will collaborate and interact with prospective customers and internal teams to generate new business and also design advanced and innovative solutions. Strong communication skills and a superior work ethic are required, as are a passion for the industry and maturity to be a trusted adviser (internally and externally). To ensure success we are seeking a Solution Architect that also has:• A strong Salesforce market and product knowledge• Experience working on large-scale Salesforce implementations• A willingness to progress and adapt within a fast-paced business and influence others to maintain course/ paceRequired Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 12+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience• Significant hands on experience in building solutions in Salesforce ecosystem in large consulting organizations or Global System integrators• Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills• Deep experience in industries with understanding of industry specific trends, processes, segments and other aspects of the specific industry• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply, we are unable to sponsor this position at this timeWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting, either from the Simplus corporate office, the employee's home office, or if the project needs require, directly from the assigned client office.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position from home (remotely) or in one of our designated offices with some travel to client's sites. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours.TravelTravel will be required.Education and Experience Requirements• Knowledge of industry specific go-to-market solutions• Good understanding of industry specific business issues and drivers• Global Delivery Model experience• Experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams• Track record as an Consulting or Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship
