Marketing School is a daily marketing podcast co-hosted by Eric Siu and Neil Patel that brings daily insights into marketing and business. With over 300,000 monthly downloads, it’s a top 5 marketing podcast that continues to inspire marketers around the globe.

Leveling Up is a YouTube channel hosted by Eric Siu with 165k subscribers made for creators and business leaders. It features weekly interviews and insightful videos on our work at the agency that have captured more than 20 million YouTube views in 2024.

Who You Are:

We’re looking for a humble, hungry, and smart candidate to join our team. This role will provide content media management to both the Leveling Up and Marketing School podcast and YouTube channels as well as Eric Siu’s personal social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok).

You are someone who: 

  • Has a proven track record of meticulously managing multiple projects at once, ensuring that deliverables are completed promptly and meet quality standards.
  • Is creative and strategic, capable of coming up with new ideas for different channels and implementing them with little revision. 
  • Is highly organized and capable of managing two podcasts across all social channels.
  • Maintains a sharp eye for detail, consistently reviewing yours,the design team, and the editing team's creative outputs to ensure they align with expectations and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in social media platforms, with the ability to lead strategy on social channels and schedule and post content that effectively drives engagement. 
  • Is not afraid to be assertive, ensuring all brand team members are held accountable to getting work done on time so that your posts are delivered on time.
  • Leverages metrics to refine strategies and achieve optimal results.
  • Is improvement-obsessed and brings new ideas to improve KPIs and the overall channels. 
  • Oversee the scheduling and posting of social media content, ensuring consistency in messaging, brand representation, and adherence to post schedules. Content includes: daily content to Leveling Up and Marketing School podcasts, YouTube channels, and social channels (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram). We post 6+ different post variations a day across channels. 
  • Lead strategy for YouTube packaging and written content, including brainstorming concepts for every YouTube thumbnail and title and writing all caption copy. 
  • Collaborate closely with editors to facilitate seamless content execution and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Regularly monitor the performance of social channels, utilizing metrics and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimization. 
  • Share regular reports with the team, highlighting the performance of your KPIs and making data-driven recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in project management or social media management. 
  • Prior experience in social media management. 
  • Experience in writing for social media. 
  • Detail oriented and highly organized. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Leadership skills and ability to guide cross-functional teams.
  • 16 days of PTO, 5 holiday days, unlimited sick time
