Contract Technical Recruiter

SkyGrid, a Boeing SparkCognition Company, exists to open the sky for autonomous flight. Based in Austin, Texas, SkyGrid builds high-assurance third-party services to enable the safe operations and airspace integration of autonomous aircraft. SkyGrid also acts as a key operational nexus for advanced air mobility, integrating and managing data, infrastructure, access, and traffic to support seamless and efficient air traffic services.


The SkyGrid team is looking for an energetic and self-assured Technical Recruiter to build strong and trusting relationships with candidates by committing to understanding individual needs and their personal motivators. This person will be primarily responsible for passive candidate outreach, pipeline management and initial screening of applicants. This position will be hourly and expected to work a hybrid schedule in our Austin office.


Performance Objectives:
  • Support and manage high-volume hiring initiative for top technical talent
  • Generate exciting and useful recruiting tactics to attract top-performing employees
  • Create an inviting and pleasant experience for all engaged candidates
  • Express and communicate SkyGrid culture to ensure candidates will naturally succeed and thrive within their new roles
  • Work closely with the leadership team to identify departmental staffing needs and requirements


Responsibilites:
  • Manage talent acquisition by creating compelling and engaging job requisitions that include measurable performance goals
  • Screen and source qualified applicants and resumes
  • Coordinate and schedule the interviewing process with individuals and hiring managers
  • Clearly communicate and nurture relationships with applicants during and after the interview process by keeping them informed of every phase and process along the way
  • Work with leadership team to understand the hiring needs of the organization
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate candidate career pathways


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of proven full cycle recruiting including sourcing, assessing, interviewing, and negotiating technically skilled talent
  • Knowledge of basic human resources policies and procedures including state and federal labor laws
  • High-capacity recruiting experience with the ability to efficiently manage multiple job requisitions
  • Experience recruiting engineering and leadership positions
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
