LOCATION: Bend, OR 97701 

Purpose:

Skyservice Business Aviation Inc. Bend is accepting applications for A & P Mechanics. A & P Mechanics are responsible for maintaining and servicing Turbine and Piston aircraft. 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Lead a team of aircraft maintenance A&P’s (give them proper instructions, distribute and balance the workload, inspect the work performed, reinforce the application of safety standards, comply with company policies and ensure proper discipline of the team) 
  • Position will be 60% billable, 40% Inspection/trainer. 
  • Ensure timely completion of all maintenance projects as needed. 
  • Perform the paperwork required in ordering all necessary parts, utilizing maintenance software. 
  • Direct troubleshooting and problem-solving 
  • Complete all work orders reviews (Daily) and report crew progress to Director of Maintenance. 
  • Ensure the airworthiness of all aircraft maintained by Leading Edge Jet Center Service Center. 
  • Day Shift work schedule, Airline On-Call rotation. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance / Manager. 
  • Willing to train and create the next generation of skilled aircraft maintenance technicians. 
  
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED 
  • Valid A&P, I.A preferred 
  • Knowledge of FAR’s 43,91,135 
  • Ability to supervise a crew of maintenance employees. 
  • Confident team player with demonstrated leadership capability. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and possess excellent organizational skills.

General Aviation aircraft (Cirrus, Cessna, Piper)  
King Air Series, PC12  
  
EDUCATION 
  • A&P License 
SCHEDULE: Rotational shifts that are 8 to 10 hour in length. Must be available to work weekends and statutory holidays as required.
