We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Industry Lead to drive Slalom’s growth in Manufacturing. We will consider Senior Director to Managing Director candidates.What You’ll Do• Set the vision for and lead the direction of the global manufacturing industry at Slalom; establish industry targets and develop overall manufacturing industry strategy.• Partner with account leaders to develop growth plans and drive accountability to achieve targets.• Advise clients on business and technology transformations working with senior business and functional leaders to understand key business drivers, define strategic needs, and develop future business capabilities leveraging industry best practices.• Mature our manufacturing industry community, develop our experts and industry offerings, and sharing our stories.• Ensure the interconnections between the business processes, technology, data, and people work together to drive performance throughout the enterprise.• Drive connections and strategy with our Global Partners to best serve our manufacturing industry clients together.• Serve as a leader within our Global Industry Community and steward of Slalom’s core values, demonstrating a daily growth mindset and passion for people.• Contribute to business development and solutioning conversations across multiple Slalom markets & clients.What You’ll Bring• You will enjoy this role if you have a passion for building expertise in manufacturing that enables you to work with our clients to solve their most critical and complex business challenges.• You will enjoy this role if you enjoy an entrepreneurial environment. This includes driving significant growth with our clients, transformational outcomes, and creating new approaches to reach those outcomes.• You will keep an eye on major trends and technology disruptions within Manufacturing and be able to identify and advise clients on opportunities created by those disruptions.• Advanced experience and leadership in the areas of• Competitive Research & Analysis• Benchmarking• Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development• Operating Model Development• Business Case Development• Business Process Design & Implementation• Program Management• Executive Stakeholder Management• Business & Technical Transformation• Change Management• Account Leadership• At least 10 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry in the areas of discrete and process manufacturing, mobility, aerospace, and construction & engineering.• Experience in the areas of digital factories, data driven manufacturing, supply chain optimization, sales & service tooling and sustainability.• 10+ years’ experience working in the consulting services industry supporting manufacturing customers.• Experience regularly attended industry conferences and shared learnings with other Industry Practitioners and clients.• Experience presenting/speaking at an industry conference, host an industry-focused expert panel, and/or be published in an industry publication.• Be responsible for setting and achieving ambitious 5-year financial targets across our diverse markets. This entails a keen focus on identifying industry trends and growth areas, allowing you to craft insightful thought leadership and innovative solutions.• Pinpoint strategic accounts within the industry and collaborate across markets to formulate effective account strategies. Actively seek out target/greenfield accounts, taking the lead in negotiating and driving new Master Service Agreements (MSAs).• Play a crucial role in supporting procurement and pricing strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of the industry.• Cultivate marketing and alliance partnerships to enhance our market presence.• Commit to industry learning and development.
