Note: We hire interns throughout the year. Please let us know when you apply when you'll be available to start.
We're a team of machine learning engineers training task-specific generative models (like ChatGPT) for psychology. Our goal is to build an AI therapist to help people change their mind and their lives in the ways that they want to. We partner with organizations around the globe and power use cases, including AI-assisted crisis text response, while securing best-in-class datasets to power our models.
Success to us means every human being in need of support having somewhere to go. We're a well-funded, seed-stage startup backed by top-tier tech investors involved in Huggingface, Runway, Notion, Stability, Scale, and other best-in-class AI companies.
We're building a powerful team by keeping a focus on the mission and empowering folks with the autonomy, flexibility, and resources to do their best work. We dream big and iterate fast. If that sounds like home, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a conversational writing intern, you’ll work on the voice of our AI counselor, Ash. You’ll report to Neil Parikh, former co-founder of Casper.
Your work will involve reading books and psychological content and writing informational and empathetic content in a conversational format. You will need to translate complicated ideas into conversations that can reach people and have an impact on them. It’ll be a bit like content writing, except that instead of developing one static piece of content, you’re helping craft a dynamic AI-powered persona.
[Please note that this role may involve reading disturbing or triggering content about sensitive topics.]
