Staff Software Engineer, Frontend Platform

SmarterDx is a clinical AI company focused on advancing healthcare accuracy and revenue integrity. They are seeking a seasoned Staff Software Engineer, Frontend Platform to build and maintain a design system and component library for complex clinical data visualization in intuitive user interfaces.

Skills

Expertise in TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with Python.
Strong experience designing user-facing solutions and design systems.
Proven ability to work with product managers and distill complex requirements.
Experience in data visualization, analytics, and configurable workflows.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and security-conscious environments.
Experience leading small teams using modern agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and launch reusable, responsive, and accessible frontend components.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to understand user needs and iterate designs.
Implement secure coding practices to protect patient privacy and security.
Research and advocate for improved frontend techniques and processes.
Support production applications ensuring stability and performance.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
