Publisher Sales Manager

We are the first to market with a patented image-streaming technology that’s revolutionizing the way images are published and monetized online. We are now collaborating with some of the most prestigious sports brands from the worlds of football, rugby, and beyond, together with a global range of publishers, imaging companies, and tech partners to drive widespread adoption.

Our mission is to transform how the world views and publishes images online – and we need talented individuals to help us achieve this.

We are now looking to bring aboard a skilled Publisher Sales Manager, one who will work with, and report to, our Global Publishing Director in the UK. Their main responsibility will be to encourage online publishers to adopt SmartFrame’s image-streaming technology for their article pages, which enables them to benefit from monetization opportunities.

The Publisher Sales Manager will be instrumental in developing the company’s client base, and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across London, New York, Berlin and Kraków. The ideal candidate is well organized, energetic, and passionate, with an excellent phone manner and strong communication skills. While they will receive a comprehensive training and onboarding program to help them understand the product and the needs of publishers, they should also have at least three years’ experience in digital publishing.

Key responsibilities

  • Selling the key benefits of SmartFrame to publishers via face-to-face presentations, video calls, and emails
  • Working with our tech team to oversee the smooth onboarding of the technology for new publishing partners
  • Using Salesforce and other lead generation tools for prospecting new clients
  • Proactively identifying new market opportunities
  • Contacting prospective clients by phone, via email, and on LinkedIn
  • Helping to develop relationships with existing publishers to maximize revenue potential
  • Representing the business at trade shows and other events
  • Coordinating with internal teams to fulfill clients’ needs

  • 3+ years’ sales experience within digital publishing or ad tech
  • A strong and up-to-date network of contacts within the publishing industry
  • Excellent presentation, organization, and communication skills (English language verbal and writing)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • High motivation and resilience
  • The ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented culture, where team members work collaboratively
  • A positive and proactive attitude, together with knowledge of wider internet technologies and trends
