The SMT Operator is responsible for setup and operation of Stencil Printers, Pick and Place machines, Reflow Oven, Conveyor system, Glue Dispensing Machine and AOI machine. He/She is also responsible in cleaning pc boards and stencil.
This is for 2nd shift 5:00pm-1:30 am
Responsibilities
- Setup and Tear down Feeders.
- Load PCB in Destacker.
- Resize conveyor according to PCB width.
- Load the Carts in the PnP machine.
- Prepare Job Folder and Stencil before Production run.
- Clean the Stencil and Squeegee after Production run.
- Operate Stencil Cleaner machine.
- Perform Parts Exhaust Exchanges.
- Setup Component Tray for machine.
- Put boards in Reflow Oven.
- Setup and Operate Reflow machine.
- Check for polarity and highlight any wrong polarity observed.
- Setup and Operate AOI machine.
- Perform ZBOM transaction in SAP.
- Classify Defects in AOI.
- Perform Visual Inspection on a panel looking for solder defects.
- Review defects in Aegis.
- Apply barcode label according to WI.
- Follow Board Handling guidelines.
- Follow work instruction documentation and be responsible for the overall quality of the product coming off the production line.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electro-mechanical assembly.
- Must possess excellent communicational skills, Bi-lingual a plus.
- Experience reading bills of materials, work instructions and assembly drawings.
- Prior SMT experience a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Other duties as required.
