The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing Project Manager to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the planning, executing, and finalizing marketing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes tracking resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Marketing Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project plans to monitor and track progress. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Stakeholder & Communication Management: Serve as the central resource for project team members and communicate with company stakeholders on all aspects of the project. Ensure that people understand any issues as they arise and help them find the right resources to address issues so they do not become stoppers.
• Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources in line with project requirements.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans. Keep everyone in the know about risks: provide yellow flags well before a red flag.
• Performance Reporting: Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Quality Control: Ensure project outputs meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and on budget.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project team members, fostering a project environment that promotes achievement and cooperation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven working experience in project management in the marketing sector.
• Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce, Marketo and Jira a plus.

• 5+ years of experience in marketing organizations, ideally in growth stage.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities.
