About The Role

Do you know all social media channels, latest trends and basically live and breathe in the digital space? Community management and setting up strategies is your thing?

Then join our marketing team in this newly created role as a Social Media Associate now!

This is a global role, offering you a broad remit of working in the LATAM area and Australia - with many more to come as we scale our global unikrn presence.

You’ll get to collaborate with various colleagues from our content, pr and retention teams. What’s even better, you’ll be able to tab into loads of data to support developing our community building and management strategies.

This role has a hybrid working pattern and can be based in Miami or New York.

What you will be doing:

• Drive social media / editorial calendar and integrate with overall marketing calendar

• Develop social copy across platform and geography

• Manage and work directly with the community management resources of the social media agency of record

• Serve as key point-of-contact for the brand’s Australia, South America / LATAM social media presences

• Identify opportunities for tactical execution in all brand social media channels, particularly in Australia, South America / LATAM

• Support KPI, measurement framework, data analysis and internal report development

• Assist with creator / influencer / streamer identification and collaboration within owned social channels

• Work collaboratively with internal content resources to create visual, social-first narratives in service of the brand’s overarching social media strategy

• Lead internal trendspotting across global social media platforms, identifying content themes, creators, topics and formats that are resonating or would resonate with our target audience

  
  

Community Management

• Management of and direct coordination with social media agency resources

• Identify community management opportunities in regional markets and support copywriting

• Oversee trans-creation of English-first betting/esports concepts into colloquial language that is interesting for Australian, South American and LATAM audiences

• Identify any owned or community posts that could cause risk to the business and flag to relevant internal stakeholders

  
  

Regional Community Development

• Lead identification of esports, cultural, sporting and other trending opportunities in Australian / South American / LATAM markets

  
  

Content Planning and Creation

• Use knowledge of the esports scene to craft content and copy suitable for our Australian / South American / LATAM audiences

• Leverage knowledge of the betting/gambling space to craft content and copy that compels action

• Put social best practices knowledge to use, recommend and implement specific optimal channel requirements and key drivers of engagement

• Develop content ideas in line with latest regulatory and compliance guidelines

  
  

Analytics / Reporting

• Support reporting and analytics requests to the social media agency, focused on basic measures like impressions, engagement rate, click through rate, view through rate, etc.

• Interpret social media data to help optimize social media strategy

  
  

Trendspotting

• Daily / weekly identification of platform-first trends relevant to unikrn (e.g., TikTok / Reels sounds, templates, etc.)

• Identify new social media platforms and opportunities; share platform updates and alternative channels we could explore or launch

• Highlight growing themes in the gambling/betting industry; learn from competitors and improve our approach
