Live streaming is a great medium for storytelling – and telling great stories benefits everyone. Whether you’re a creator, content marketer, entrepreneur, or just someone with something to say, live streaming is an exciting and effective way to spread your message.

But live streaming tools are very complicated. You shouldn’t need to spend thousands of dollars on a computer, or learn about encoding, just to start live streaming. The world misses out on so many great creators because of these barriers.

Dan and Geige thought there should be a streaming tool that anyone could use – a tool that was fun instead of stressful – a tool that was simple, but powerful enough to create engaging content. We wanted people who weren’t techy, or who simply didn’t want to deal with the hassle of streaming, to still go live, share their stories, and grow their own communities.

Geige and Dan built StreamYard with three things in mind and continue to focus on these pillars today. The three StreamYard pillars include

About You

• Professional experience leading social media for hyper relevant Saas, product, consumer tech, or B2B brands 
• You're not just familiar with social media; you're passionate about it. You're constantly keeping up with the latest trends, algorithms, and tools in the digital marketing space. You see social media as an art form and a science.
• You have a knack for storytelling and a sharp eye for design. You can craft compelling narratives, create eye-catching visuals, and produce engaging videos that resonate with our audience. You're not afraid to push creative boundaries.
• You can develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and values. You know how to measure success and adjust your approach accordingly.
• You're a natural at building and nurturing online communities. You know how to engage with our followers, respond to their comments, and turn casual followers into loyal brand advocates. You understand the importance of fostering meaningful connections.
• You're comfortable working with analytics tools and using data to drive your decisions. You can identify trends, track key performance indicators, and use insights to optimize our social media campaigns for maximum impact.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can craft compelling social media copy, respond to inquiries with professionalism and empathy, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, always variable environment
• You not only manage our social media but also embody our brand's values and voice. You're passionate about representing our company in a positive light and maintaining a consistent brand identity across all social platforms.

Being a remote company enables us to hire the best talent from selected locations around the world. We can engage with you in any of our jurisdictions listed below, all you need to do is demonstrate the legal right to work and be physically present in that country.
