Pay Range: $60,000-$65,000 annually

Location: Hurst, TX Support Center

Position Purpose

Liberty Tax is adding a Social Media Manager to our national marketing team. Come work for one of the country’s largest franchisors and join a team that’s accelerating in the financial services industry!

In this role, you will plan and execute the social media content strategy for our corporate and local channels. We’re looking for a strategic thinker that understands the intricacies of social platforms, brings social-first thinking to the table, and can capitalize on real-time opportunities and social trends. Our ideal candidate will craft high-level strategies that resonate with our target audience, manage social calendars, develop insights and oversee the day-to-day social content and community.

Responsibilities

• Develop a content calendar and posting schedule to ensure consistent delivery

• Utilize SOCi platform to schedule posts and track engagement

• Craft engaging content for the organization's social channels

• Research relevant income tax trends and identify opportunities for content creation

• Support writing of social, blog and email content

• Increase social followings and positive follower sentiment

• Connect with franchisees to support their local social media efforts

• Respond to comments and resolve customer issues on social

• Manage field support requests from franchisee network

Position Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in social media management

• In-depth knowledge of social platforms, algorithms, trends, and best practices

• Proficiency in using social media management tools and content creation apps

• Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills

• Passion for social media and staying updated with the latest industry trends and platforms

• Strong creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative content ideas

• Experience working with SOCi platform is a plus

• Working knowledge of Zendesk, Asana, Outlook

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The position requires working at a desk at the corporate office located for periods of time up to eight hours and required flexibility to work remotely when necessary.
