Rubrik seeks an inventive, creative, and clever Social Media Specialist to support and elevate Rubrik’s social media activities and programs. You’re a proactive, organized convergent thinker who will help continually improve our processes, content, and strategy. You understand the social media landscape and have a knack for creating engaging content. You’re also a talented writer, collaborator, and overall communicator. You will work closely with internal teams and agency partners to help expand Rubrik’s brand and bring memorable campaigns and content to life. This role will report directly to the Senior Marketing Content & Social Manager. This role would be located at our HQ in Palo Alto, CA.
What You'll Do
- Manage the social media editorial calendar and publish content across our global social media channels, ensuring proper tracking is implemented for regular reporting
- Draft copy for social media content including scriptwriting, captions, infographics, and more
- Analyze social media channels to identify opportunities to develop content intended to drive engagement and conversation on Rubrik technologies
- Work on product announcements, corporate news, evergreen campaigns, and other content for social media
- Partner with the employer branding team to amplify Rubrik’s message as a Great Place to Work
- Drive adoption of Rubrik’s employee advocacy program to continually drive engagement with our employees and ensure they have the tools and content they need to be Rubrik’s advocates on social media
- Coordinate with internal marketing operations and digital marketing teams to continue to drive demand, maintain data hygiene, and generate bottom-of-funnel engagement
Experience You'll Need
- 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, B2B tech experience preferred
- Strong writing skills with a background in copywriting for digital/social channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube
- Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Oktopost, etc.
- Understanding of employee advocacy platforms like Dynamic Signal, Bambu, EveryoneSocial, Influitive, etc.
- Expert-level organizational skills and familiarity with project management and organizational tools like Asana, Jira, and Google Drive
- Driven by curiosity, you are a conceptual and strategic problem-solver with creativity at the helm of every project you work on
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Background in paid social media program management
- Understanding of digital data and analytical tools
- Familiarity working with both internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver results
- Collaborative, go-get-'em attitude

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Pay Range
$85,000—$127,000 USD
