Job Summary:

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for capturing, developing, editing and delivering creative social media content that is designed to comprehensively showcase the company and its products, services and offerings. The Social Media Specialist will engage with followers, and create and maintain an interactive relationship between consumers, customers, partners, stakeholders and Cirrus Aircraft. Additionally, the Social Media Specialist will expertly report on social metrics and trends to the management and leadership team.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and collaborator, a creative thinker and storyteller, a self-starter and a team player. As an active participant in data collection and analysis, you will play a key role in consistently improving the company’s social media practices over time. The Social Media Specialist will report to the Public Relations Manager.

Essential Duties:

  • Work closely with all Cirrus Aircraft divisions to develop social media campaigns that aid in achieving sales targets and foster new relationships and opportunities.
  • Assist the global sales team and other company stakeholders with social media posts and on-brand strategies that comply with corporate standards.
  • Proactively engage with followers, customers, partners and stakeholders for campaign opportunities.
  • Ideate, capture, edit and publish content for all social media platforms.
  • Leverage and utilize the content calendar for all social media posts across all channels. Proactively share materials with the team in advance.
  • Collaborate with the Public Relations Manager on an evergreen corporate social media strategy for channels and posts that align with the brand, industry best practices, etc.
  • Monitor corporate social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with followers.
  • Monitor competitor and luxury brand social media accounts, compare performance, alert on trends, etc.
  • Devise tactics to increase follower populations across our social channels.
  • Identify and engage influencers within vertical markets as necessary.
  • Seek new opportunities for brand awareness, influencers, collaborations, etc.
  • Develop monthly reports on metrics and emerging social media trends that will be submitted to management and leadership teams.
  • Support with crisis communications as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in social media management.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
  • Exceptional photography, videography and editing skills.
  • Able to collect and report on social media performance.
  • Identify and report on new opportunities.
