About the role:
As our Social Producer, you will create fun and engaging social content, leveraging your strengths in writing, ideation, and video production in this unique and rewarding role. You’re on top of the latest social trends, creative and detail-oriented, and comfortable in front of or behind the camera. You love coming up with fresh new ideas, or leveraging trends in a way that will appeal to our core demographic.
What you'll do:

Own social content production process (including writing, pitching, scripting, right clearances) working cohesively with the Social Media Manager and the paid media team on production direction and social calendar needs

Excel in producing shareable and engaging social-first videos (fun, travel-inspiring social media content that drives engagement and travel intent)

Leverage advanced writing skills to craft copy, text overlay, and captions on content that hooks the viewers and gets them to take the intended action

Handle day-to-day content publishing, deliverables, and edits

Stay on the cusp of new social media trends and ideate new content opportunities with the Social Media Manager

Translate social trends into content that remains on-brand and representative of EF Go Ahead Tours

Leverage insights from Social Media Manager and pivot content design as needed

Source content images and video from our community of travelers, influencers, Tour Directors, staff members and internal creative servers to build out assets

Present content ideation on a weekly basis and execute the production of assets once they have been approved

Monitor the performance of social assets and regularly share out reporting to social and leadership teams
Who you are:
-
2-3 years of creative social production for a B2C company
-
An innovative and enthusiastic attitude about all things social and content
-
Knowledge and understanding of a wide range of social channels and their role in the lives of Millennials, Gen X, and Baby Boomers

Experience using social publishing platforms

Are a natural born storyteller with an eye for detail

Are always in the know on social trends

An editing wizard with video production
-
Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills (and the ability to adapt to a brand tone of voice)

Strong knowledge of the type of content that drives engagement and action on social media channels

Are outgoing, creative, passionate, and approachable with a desire to try new things

Are comfortable on camera, on TikTok, being an MC in a group etc

Have a love and passion for travel

Have strong interpersonal relationship skills

Are savvy about the changing landscape of social sharing

Loves creative exploration and embraces taking thoughtful risks to create unique content

Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills—proven ability to work under strict deadlines and keep up with the always-on churn of social media activity
