Social Studies Teacher

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that align with the curriculum and standards

Utilize technology and other modern teaching tools to enhance student learning

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration

Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and promote their individual success

Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices

Requirements:

Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field

Valid teaching certification and/or Arizona Highly Qualified Teacher

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification in given subject/secondary education

Experience teaching in a K-12 setting

Demonstrated experience in teaching in subject(s) taught with classroom management tactics, DOK, Norms etc.

Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices for 21st century learning

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

New Educator Graduates and Second Career Teachers in approved educator program welcome to apply

Compensation:

Positions open: All Core Subjects including Special Education Teachers and Special Education Director

Salary Range: $40,000 - $65,000.00 annually

Plus AZ Prop 301 eligibility

Additional Stipends May be Available
