Dartmouth Health Behavioral Health Solution team is looking for an engaged and motivated MSW to join our multidisciplinary team. This team provides behavioral health programs and initiatives to support DH’s goal of providing access to mental health care for its employees. In this virtual position the MSW will provide clinical care both individually and in group settings to a patient population of healthcare employees.
Provides assessment, counseling, information and referral, advocacy services, and other resource assistance to patients directly or through consultation.
Responsibilities
Provides complete psychosocial assessments of patients and families.
Provides counseling to individuals and families to help solve social and emotional problems.
Coordinates community resources to address/meet identified needs.
Assists families in adapting to difficult and complicated dispositions involving complex/catastrophic care needs, multiple agencies/providers and linkage to resources outside the community.
Provides consultation, assessment, referral and coordination in cases of suspected child or dependent adult abuse or neglect, or other forms of domestic violence.
Organizes support groups.
Documents objective, concise and pertinent clinical data in the medical record.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
Social work experience in an acute, home care, or ambulatory setting preferred.
Strong organizational skills, verbal and

Negotiation skills.
Proven ability to deal with conflict resolution.
Comfortable with basic computer skills.
