Senior Software Developer (Europe - Remote)

We seek a talented, self-motivated Senior Software Developer to join our expanding engineering team in Europe. As a key engineering team member, you will help build, evolve, and scale our core technology platform to drive product innovation and success. Experience we are looking for:

• 6+ years of software development experience with an excellent understanding of core Java concepts and clean code principles; very good experience in Java server-side technologies (preferably Spring based) and good testing skills & working knowledge of JUnit, Mockito

• Proven experience with a relational database such as MySQL, Oracle, and Postgres.

• Solid understanding of common data structures and algorithms, and OO design.

• Docker - building images, debugging Git: git-flow / PR reviews

Nice to have:

• Cloud services - experience with any of the main cloud providers

• Microservices architecture, gRPC

• Kubernetes / minikube

What you will do:

• Work as a key member of an agile team to design, develop, and test end-to-end projects that meet our clients' requirements.

• Design and implement scalable REST API's, backend processes for a configurable insurance cloud platform.

• Provides technical guidance and assumes responsibility in all development activities.

• Bring an awareness of industry trends and potential new technologies that can offer a positive impact on our customer base.

• Mentor team members in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools and processes

Salary: 350-450 Euros per day depending on experience and location
