Software Architect

Ascendum is a leading software consulting company that provides innovative and customized software solutions to clients in various industries. We are looking for a talented software architect to work with our health care client and develop a platform around HL7 and FHIR protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a platform around HL7 and FHIR protocols
• Determine when to use 3rd party platforms vs develop in house
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the platform is developed according to specifications
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
• Perform hands-on development and proof of concept work
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the platform meets their needs
• Research and evaluate new technologies and best practices to improve the platform

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development
• Experience in healthcare industry is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of HL7 and FHIR protocols
• Experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node)
• Proven experience as a software architect
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
