What you’ll do:
As a Software Architect at FACTS SIS, you are instrumental in helping to lead our product development teams. You’ll serve as a technical expert and provide direct day-to-day guidance and leadership to our talented and motivated development teams. You will design and oversee solutions to critical business needs across multiple systems. Collaboration is important to us; you’ll work with other Software Architects to define and ensure best practices and recommended technologies are appropriately used across all development teams
As a Software Architect a typical day might include:

Leading and/or participating in solution design to satisfy a wide range of business needs
-
Acting as a consultant with internal and external clients to understand business needs and identify potential solutions

Provide technical direction, training, and mentoring to technical team members
-
Develop and champion best practices and standards in the areas of technology and security
-
Provide general oversight to ensure adherence to methodologies, practices, and standards
-
Keeps abreast of advancements and changes in technology, and develops an understanding of how new technologies can be leveraged to provide business solutions

Participating in discussions/design of where our systems are today, where we want to take them tomorrow, and how we can best get there.
Salary Range for this role - $140,000-$155,000
You Have:
-
Minimum 5 years total experience delivering enterprise class web applications, with experience in the following (or similar) technologies - C#, .NET, Angular, SQL, Kubernetes, Terraform
-
Experience building services which run on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
-
Experience with performance analysis and optimization of web services and software
-
Advanced understanding of object-oriented design and SOLID development principles
-
Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (table design, complex query creation, best practices)

Understanding of best practices and methods to continuously integrate and deploy applications, architect micro-service solutions, and develop APIs for internal and external use

Strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with others
-
Experience mentoring others and/or leading a significant change within a team
-
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
