Software Developer

Tyler Technologies is looking for two Software Developers in Moraine, OH to perform the following job duties:

Maintain and develop of key product components within an Oracle database design rich in PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and complex analytical and financial reports. Analyze, design, and develop lean, secure, well-documented and testable code of moderate complexity using modern design techniques that conform to the requirements, established technical architecture, and industry best practices. Produce written test cases, unit tests, and integration tests and perform necessary application testing to ensure code quality and adherence to requirements. Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, developers, and QA in an Agile development process to ensure effective communication among all stakeholders. Troubleshoot software issues to determine root causes and provide solutions. Must work in the office one or more days each week with the option of working remotely 1 or more days per week, within the same MSA as the worksite. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline or a foreign equivalent and 1 yr exp. in software development, including object-oriented design and programming; working with SQL, development of Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures and database performance optimization; working with reporting tools such as Oracle Reports Builder or Oracle BI publisher and SQL scripting.
