Software Developer V

We help our clients plan for their future and they are passionate about the tools and experiences we provide. We collaborate with user experience and design, business and technology partners across the enterprise to build software experiences our users’ are passionate about.

Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to define strategy and scope of software requirements (decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks). Deliver new concepts and features, working alongside development peers in an agile environment. Serve as an informal leader: leading code reviews and mentoring junior team members. Partner with scrum master and product owner to provide development sizing & cost analysis estimates. Utilize automated software test tools and frameworks such as test-driven development to achieve the highest quality in software delivery. Support integration efforts to build whole systems from various subsystems. Identify technology risks early and establish mitigation plans. Create dashboards and alerts for monitoring and troubleshooting the applications in production.

Job Requirements: Masters’ degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field and three (3) years of progressive, post- baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education and experience. Skills: Experience and/or education must include: Distributed Computing; Microservices and Event driven architecture; Messaging (Publish and Subscribe); Experience in at least one cloud platform; Building applications using Java 8 or later version, J2EE, Spring and Spring Boot; and Tools such as Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, Confluence, Maven, Gradle, GIT Bash, Git UI, TIBCO.
