Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Services organization is seeking a Software Development Analyst at its Redondo Beach, CA location.
The Digital Manufacturing Engineering and Quality (DMEQ) organization is responsible for providing engineering software and computing systems for Space and Aeronautics sectors at Northrop Grumman.
The incumbent candidate will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or application software. She/he will be involved in planning, development and deployment of systems while being responsible for meeting software compliance standards. They will evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of the overall system. Responsible for documenting, testing and maintenance of system changes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support the cost management web entry system
- Maintain and support the tool portfolio web database
- Administration of backend database for tool portfolio and cost management web system
- Enhancement of UX for the tool portfolio and cost management web entry system
- Participate in daily scrum meeting for issue tracking and resolution.
This role may be filled at the Analyst or Principal Analyst level, depending on the years of experience you bring.
Basic Qualifications:

Analyst Level: Bachelor’s degree in Science with emphasis on computer science/engineering, or related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant IT professional experience

Principal Analyst Level: Bachelors Degree in Science with emphasis on computer science/engineering, or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience

Applicants must have proven software programming experience along with Linux administration.

Strong technical foundation in the following: HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, Version Control Systems (either git or SVN)
Preferred Qualifications:

Possess the ability to configure, maintain and deploy new and legacy software.

Experience writing maintainable, understandable code as a part of a team.

Proven experience with Agile coding practices and: Typescript, React, Node.js, PHP, Jenkins, Docker, Java, Bash, Less, Python
This position reports to Redondo Beach, CA, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 4 locations listed above.
Salary Range: $85,000 USD - $127,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $104,600 USD - $157,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
