Motorola Mobility Mobile Devices - Modem Technology Team is responsible for designing, developing, testing and delivering a world class GSM/UMTS/CDMA/E-HRPD/LTE wireless Modem Solution

Responsibilities

Software Engineer for CDMA/EHRPD/UMTS/LTE & IMS Protocol Stack.

The primary responsibility will be: system architecture, system engineering, requirement analysis, and performance analysis of Control & Data Plane of Protocol Stack. Candidates will actively support lab testing and work closely with chip set vendors to perform defect analysis and make quality fixes.

Will get an opportunity to learn vast knowledge on 3gpp specifications, Ever evolving Network technologies, Protocol Stack, SIP protocol.

Minimum Requirements

• BS in Electronics / Electriclal / CS or other related technical discipline
• 0-3 years of experience in the relevant area.
• Strong verbal and written communication with excellent ability to articulate the technical details
• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams settings.
• Must be willing to work on site in Chicago

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with C, C++ and Python a plus
