Verisign is currently looking for a mid-level Software Engineer who would support and build enhancements within Verisign's financial and HR systems landscape that includes ERP systems, COTs integration, Web applications/web services, mobile applications and integration frameworks as well as provide technical support to internal business customers. This person will help understand functional requirements to provide lean and effective solutions using the right technology stack in an agile manner. They will also support other teams in testing, implementation, and production support where needed.
Responsibilities:
- Support Verisign's financial and HR systems landscape that includes Oracle ERP systems, web applications/web services, integration frameworks
- Collaborate tasks with vendor technical support, enterprise system administration teams, and project development staff to ensure successful COTs/SaaS integration implementation within the enterprise
- Support software and web architecture requirements analysis, development and maintenance
- Design and develop smart and innovative solutions to satisfy business requirements - Work within an agile team of engineers and systems analysts to develop high quality applications and products in the existing landscape with a vision for the future
- Develops deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the corporate systems landscape
- Ensures key technical design documentation is completed to a high standard
- Hands-on ability to build quick prototypes/visuals to assist with high level product concepts and epic stories
- Writing and maintaining strong unit, functional and integration tests to be automated in a continuous integration environment
- Responsible for reducing operational downtime for critical, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance by accelerating deployments of approved changes/fixes/updates and solutions and automate manual maintenance, deployment, diagnostic health checks, validation, and reporting
- Continuing to evolve our application platform to meet scaling, security, and compliance needs
- Leading code reviews, design reviews, and offering guidance on best practices to continuously improve stability and efficiencies
- Can-do positive attitude and a penchant for improving processes and systems
- Being a self-starter/independent worker who communicates and coordinates well with peers and management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent); or Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and 3 years of experience
- 5+ years advanced computer programming skills in Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.11 or above in a production support environment or in a full life-cycle implementation effort
- Oracle EBS RICEFW development
- Advanced technical skills in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, JDeveloper, OAF Customizations, Extensions, and Workflows
- Technical knowledge and significant experience in the EBS functional modules, such as Procure to Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (RTR), Order to Cash (OTC) and others
- Experience in Oracle EBS Web ADI, form personalization, web page personalization, and experience with Procurement/Supply Chain modules
- Experience with PL/SQL programming including Stored Procedures, Constraints, Joins, Keys, Indexes, Data Import/Export, Triggers, Cursors and SQL Loader
- Proficient in Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Workflow Builder, XML Publisher
- Experience with integration to Oracle E-Business Suite and /or legacy systems
- Hands-on experience in programming skills in Java/J2EE, REST API, SOAP etc.) integration
- Experience in analyzing functional requirements to create/modify system and service architectures and designs and to write component detailed design technical documents
- Hands-on experience in Quest STAT or similar deployment tools
Nice to have:
- Experience preferably in Unix Shell scripting, Spring framework, JBOSS EAP/FUSE, OBIEE technologies, and Python is a plus
- Exposure to collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Confluence and Jira
- Able to perform the complete system life cycle using Agile Engineering and Scrum Methodology preferably in JIRA
- Hands-on experience that demonstrates competence in developing scripts to automate configuration, installation, and support deployment activities and exposure to CI/CD utilizing DevOps/Agile SDLC using with GIT, SVN, Maven, Jenkins, Selenium, Ansible or Chef
If you live in CO, CA, NY, Washington State the annualized pay range for this role is $103,200 - $139,600.
The anticipated annualized base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards.
