About The Opportunity


We are looking for an AI/ML and Cloud Application Performance Engineer to join our team. As an AI/ML and Cloud Application Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for tuning and optimization of AI services in a distributed SaaS multi-tenant, layered event-driven microservices system. Our systems are 24/7, and globally distributed. As a member of our talented engineering team, you will be closely involved with creative and ground-breaking product design and development. You'll collaborate with our other architects, designers, and implementation & test teams to build reliable applications and operations.



ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define performance suite and best practices for scalability and efficiency of AI/ML models and algorithms applied to Contact Center applications in the Cloud involving language/image/audio/video processing
  • Benchmark, analyze and optimize AI/ML workloads involving CPU/GPU configurations and associated software stack, and report findings to software teams to improve performance
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and deep learning techniques, and identify opportunities for integrating into our products and services
  • Enable a cloud-native solution that is reliable, scalable, and secure
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and respond to dynamic technical challenges
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the implemented solution involving Cloud-native AI technologies

About You

EXPERIENCE
  • Expertise in implementing and tuning AI/ML models and frameworks in large scale environments
  • Experience in distributed cloud-native applications
  • Software development experience

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of AI and ML concepts and techniques including deep learning, natural language processing, Generative and Multimodal AI, as well as practical experience applying these concepts to solve real-world problems
  • Experience in AI pipelines, AIOps, GPU architectures and optimizations including data preprocessing, feature extraction, model training, and evaluation
  • Expertise in benchmarking methodologies, performance analysis, workload profiling, performance monitoring and debugging tools
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
  • Proven experience with one or more scripting languages
  • Expertise in Software as a Service and associated technologies
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure and Platforms - Azure /GCP/AWS
  • Experience in implementing solutions for public, private, hybrid, and multi-tenant environments
  • Knowledge in real-time communication applications
  • Inquiring mind, solid problem-solving skills, and automation mindset
  • Excellent written and oral communication, while collaborating with other software engineers and remote teams
  • Support the establishment of DevOps/SRE culture and methodologies within the organization

Education

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Master degree or equivalent experience

Compensation

The pay range for this opportunity is from $95,800 to $129,400 + performance-related bonus + benefits
This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
