The Role:

As an Software Quality Assurance Co-op at Kobo, you will join one of our technology teams to play an integral role in developing and maintaining our technology ecosystem. You will learn new technologies and processes, gain a strong understanding of industry best practices, and make valuable contributions that will directly benefit our customers.

The Person:

  • An Ontario post-secondary student in a registered co-op program seeking an 8-month work term as part of their studies
  • Passionate about pursuing a career in technology
  • Able to work effectively as a member of a self-organizing team with minimal supervision
  • A proactive and creative problem solver who can multitask and manage tight deadlines
  • Has excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Has used Kobo devices and apps

The Roles & Projects:

  • Join one of our dev teams in the role of Software QA Engineer
  • Work on testing new features and building out our automation testing capacity
  • Love tinkering with electronics and controls circuits? Work with Arduino, Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, and Bench Supply tools
  • Participate in design sessions and sprints and engage in problem solving, prototype building, and user testing
