About the Role
The Software Tester is primarily responsible for assisting with the quality, integrity, and usability of PSI applications. This position will work closely with the development team, product managers and technical support team.
This is a full-time permanent role, with flexible hours around core office availability Monday to Friday. The role can be performed remotely, with occasional travel required for meetings, events and workshops.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure accurateness, completeness, timeliness, and clear communication of testing results.
- Perform the following testing on product content and delivery platforms prior to release: functionality, performance, content, accuracy, grammar, continuity, and visual appropriateness of questions, support materials, and videos.
- Review trainings, tests, courses, and study guides across numerous content categories.
- Test delivery platforms to troubleshoot changes and updates.
- Assist with resolution of customer issues and reports.
- Creating and executing test plans.
- Participate in planning and testing.
- Creates basic test cases and test scripts.
- Logs, tracks, and verifies testing results.
- Test and verify resolutions for support tickets.
- Test and provide feedback for product feature enhancements.
- Collaborate with development team, product managers, and technical support.
- Education to high school diploma level, Bachelor’s degree preferred, e.g. in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in software testing roles preferred.
- Experience with modern software development languages a plus, e.g. JavaScript, Spring Boot, .net, Go, CSS, HTML etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and Autodesk preferred.
- Familiarity with AGILE development methodologies and bug tracking software is a plus.
