About The Role


We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at Solar Landscape.


As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our business systems and processes, with a specific focus on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Pages. The ideal candidate will help design, build, and maintain these systems, leading the design of efficient processes and ensuring robust integration with other systems. This position is crucial for leveraging technology to boost business efficiency and support strategic decision-making.


Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain systems within the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Pages).
  • Design and implement efficient business processes within Dynamics 365.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and other tools via API.
  • Create insightful and visually compelling reports using Power BI to support strategic decisions.
  • Automate key workflows and processes using Power Automate and Azure Functions to improve operational efficiency across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, solve complex problems, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Continuously research and adopt new technologies to keep our systems innovative and effective.
  • Clearly articulate complex data findings and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pages).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Azure Functions.
  • Extensive experience with Business Intelligence tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of tackling complex challenges and delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.
  • Proactive and collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation in data engineering and machine learning.
  • Experience with SQL and database management systems.
  • Experience with cloud services, particularly in automation and integration functions.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and ETL processes.
  • Professional certifications related to business applications or business intelligence are a plus.
