Special Education Teaching Position

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher for a contract opportunity in Oak Park, IL. This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and making a meaningful impact in an inclusive educational environment. As a Special Education Teacher, you will develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs), provide tailored instruction, and collaborate with other educators and families to ensure the success of each student.Key Responsibilities:• Create and deliver customized lesson plans and instructional materials for students with special needs.• Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with students, parents, and school staff.• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles and needs.• Provide one-on-one and group instruction to address academic, social, and emotional goals.• Collaborate with general education teachers and other specialists to support a cohesive learning environment.• Manage classroom behavior and foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.• Experience working with students with special education needs preferred.• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and accommodations.Why Contracting with Soliant?Contracting with Soliant Education offers numerous benefits that enhance your professional experience.
