Job Title: Solr Website Search Consultant Job Summary: As the Solr Website Search Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the website's search functionality, leveraging Apache Solr technology. You will work closely with the development team, content creators, and other stakeholders to ensure the website's search capabilities align with business objectives and user needs. Key Responsibilities: • Configure and customize Solr search functionality to provide the best possible user experience for website visitors • Collaborate with development teams to integrate search functionality into website architecture • Develop and implement strategies for improving website search performance and relevance • Ensure website search functionality is optimized for mobile and desktop users • Analyze website search data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth • Work with content creators to ensure search-friendly content is being produced and published • Train and educate internal stakeholders on website search best practices and usage • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in website search technology Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • Experience working with Apache Solr technology • Strong understanding of website architecture and design principles • Experience analyzing search data and developing insights for optimization • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
