As a Solution Developer, within our Custom/Advanced Placement (AP) School division of McGraw Hill, you will find effective ways to complete the print & digital production work for customized educational products, to meet the needs of specific K-12 markets. It will be filled as a 12-month Project Status Worker (PSW) designation. These roles are remote and candidates can reside anywhere within the United States.
Your impact on the team
The Solution Developer will be working with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and cross-functional teams to find efficient ways to repurpose/refine content for a more specified market or set of standards. This position can sit out of Columbus, OH or can be filled remotely within the Continental United States.
What you will be doing
- Serve as content generalists―artfully repurposing content to produce accurate, high-quality products that meet curriculum standards and market requirements.
- Track and follow approved workflows at all stages, while meeting all intermediate and final schedules.
- Effectively communicate across multiple teams to ensure that market requirements, product requirements, project schedules, project budgets, and product needs are met.

Stay up to date on emerging educational technology within K-12 education.
- Acquire and manage production vendors to ensure products are built to requirements.

Track and manage the overall spend for assigned projects.
We’re looking for someone with

1+ years experience working within a Content Management or Learning Management System strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Experience within Higher Education, K-12 or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of content development and instructional design.
- Experience working on multiple project simultaneously with a focus on customer success.
The average base salary range for this position is around $60-65,000 annually, however, base salary pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits depending on the position offered.
