Solution Lead, Payments

Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for the Payments Franchise, driving sales pipelines, deal execution, product strategy and thought leadership.
  • Understand current trends for Payments solutions and translate that to Strategic Demand Generation programs, identifying new target markets, business prospects and cross-sell opportunities in order to maximize revenue potential.
  • Maintain regular dialogue with regional sales teams, driving Strategic Demand Generation program execution to ensure pipeline generation targets are achieved and of the right quality.
  • Understand clients’ strategic objectives and how Finastra can partner to address them, working closely with product development to translate market requirements into product capability and deliverables.
  • Maintain constant awareness of current and planned development of Finastra products and translate to solutions for our customers’ and prospects’ business problems.
  • Be the Finastra Payments Evangelist. Serve as the primary spokesperson for Analyst and PR activities; attend trade shows, conferences and other industry related events.
  • Create and present industry thought leadership content to promote the Finastra brand in the Payments space
  • Enable and continually develop the internal Finastra Payments ecosystem via regular update meetings, webinars, podcasts, and training initiatives.
  • Drive growth of the Finastra partner ecosystem by strengthening and expanding existing partner relationships and establishing new Payments Fintech partners
  • Manage and maintain Payments pipeline quality by way of providing guidance and coaching to the Finastra sales teams ensuring adequate qualification during the opportunity life cycle.
  • Engage internal resources, providing the necessary expertise and guidance to ensure consistent messaging and positioning around Payments solution propositions and demonstrations.
  • Develop relationships and solution expertise within the Finastra channel partner network in order to maximize business development and opportunity creation.
  • Interact with executive level management at prospect and existing client sites, as well as within Finastra.
Skills & knowledge
  • Extensive Payments industry knowledge preferably from within a FinTech software sales organization or Financial Services institution. Knowledge should span Payments segments.
  • Detailed knowledge of product and service requirements of Payments institutions, particularly around front to back digital transformation.
  • Senior level job experience within the industry in order to develop and build out industry wide contacts.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the industry issues, key personas, legislation, products, services and trends.
  • Ability to translate knowledge of industry and solutions to provide input into product strategic direction and roadmap.
  • Demonstrated competency hiring, developing and evaluating employees to achieve corporate and personal development objectives.
  • Experience developing and implementing business plans and goals with demonstrated Demand Generation / Go To Market program execution skills.
  • Ability to take a consultative and strategic sales approach to problem solving with current and prospective clients.
  • Demonstrated skills of working collaboratively in a large cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales, revenue, and P&L targets.
  • Ability to initiate, develop and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Membership of multiple industry organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence and resilience to interact with the international leadership team.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
