Solutions Architect - US/Canada (Remote)

Armory is looking for a Solutions Architect (SA) who can deliver and prove value to our rapidly growing customer base. So, if you love working in a fast-paced environment and working closely with prospects and customers to provide them with technical solutions that add a ton of value, let's talk.

In this role at Armory, you are a Solutions Architect who is highly technical and confident in front of prospects and customers. You can talk about developer tooling with ease and explain the value proposition to audiences ranging from Individual Contributors (IC's) up to management (CIO's).

As the primary technical owner of advanced/custom Proof of Value (PoVs), you are comfortable installing Armory's Enterprise Platform in various private and public clouds. You can customize solutions based on each customer's individual needs. Among other responsibilities, you should be passionate about writing documentation or blog posts to help current and future customers.

Do you have experience with some or most of the below? We'd love to talk!

• 4 + years experience as a Solutions Architect and/or Cloud Architecture experience
• Strong Project Management skills
• Strong public or private cloud architecture experience
• Advanced hands-on experience with shifting companies from monoliths to the cloud on AWS
• Strong experience using tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, DockerHub and other products that sit in the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC)
• Deep experience with Kubernetes
• Understanding and ability to debug/write Java/GoLang
• Ability to troubleshoot network infrastructure issues
• Experience with databases, explicitly querying databases, and database configuration (Redis, MySQL, Aurora, and RDS Infrastructure)
• Experience with logging frameworks(trace-level logging, open telemetry, etc.)
• Experience with application performance tuning.
• Experience with Helm, Blue/Green Deployments, and Canary Deployments is highly valuable.
• It's also a huge plus if you are familiar with OSS Spinnaker and are part of the Spinnaker community.

What you'll own:

• You'll lead advanced pre-sales engagements at a select group of Armory's most essential and complex opportunities.
• You'll be a thought leader and level up Solutions Engineers and account teams with industry and product knowledge.
• You will own the interlock between the field and Product Management, helping to drive the product roadmap and be a voice for the customer.
• You'll provide guidance and strategy for SEs and AEs before and during PoVs, ensuring that our technical validation exercises are of the highest quality and lead to technical wins.

This is a remote position (based in the US or Canada) and may include some amount of travel, though much of the customer work would be done remotely.
