Solutions Engineer (FinOps)

As a Solutions Engineer at CloudZero, you will put both of your passions—cloud engineering and problem-solving—to work every day. It requires someone who can speak fluently to engineering, finance, and leadership as the customer's expert guide to managing their cloud spending.

In this role, you will work closely with prospects and customers. You handle the demos and proof of concepts (POC) by identifying their needs and converting that to a solution that delights them when they see the results of your work. You'll need to dive deep into specific team needs and understand how those needs measure against the responsibilities of the overall company objectives. You will partner with customers to design the future state of what success looks like for them.

Requirements

Key Objectives and Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with the sales organization and serve as the technical point of contact for customer opportunities
• Educate customers on the value proposition of CloudZero
• Lead POCs and help customers along their FinOps journey
• Act as an internal liaison between prospects, engineering, product, and customer success

What we're looking for:

• 4-6 years of experience working with cloud environments and containers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable giving presentations and speaking in front of C-Suite executives
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Ability to simplify complex technical problems
• FinOps and AWS Practitioner Certifications preferred
