Department Description:The Young and the Restless has been the number-one daytime drama for 31 years. It revolves around the rivalries, romances, hopes, and fears of the residents of the fictional Midwestern metropolis, of Genoa City. The lives and loves of various characters mingle through the generations. When The Young and the Restless premiered in 1973, it revolutionized the daytime drama. It continues to set the standard with strong characters, socially conscious storylines, and romance. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in production and daytime dramas and have a working knowledge of The Young and the Restless.Responsibilities:• Provide administrative support to the Producing Team• Scheduling, phone coverage, spreadsheet data entry, filing• Provide auxiliary support for the accounting office• Read and synthesize outlines and scripts• Attend daily and weekly production meetings• Responsible for the creation and distribution of production schedules/calendars opportunity to learn about Production from inception to completionQualifications:• Undergraduate degree related to Television Production preferred• Capable of handling various responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously• Strong communication and organizational skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
