Job Description

Our team members understand the importance of collaboration and put it at the forefront of their work philosophy. That’s why we encourage our people to embrace Agile & Scrum in their workdays. Agile brings flexibility, collaboration, and incremental delivery to project management. Scrum introduces short term, functional incremental progress on performance directed by the Scrum Master and Product Owner. Through regular Sprints, it is easier to manage backlogs, conduct sprint planning, and create constant, collaborative positive outcomes. 

As an Agile Coach, you will play a vital role in guiding teams through agile methodologies to enhance productivity and foster positive change. Your expertise in agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe will help streamline processes and improve team performance. You’ll bring your exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and leadership skills to the forefront, facilitating collaboration and driving agile adoption within organizations. While a relevant bachelor’s degree or Agile certification is preferred, it is not essential. Your primary focus will be on leading and coaching teams, applying your facilitation skills to effectively implement agile practices and achieve successful outcomes.

As an Agile Coach at Sopra Steria, you have a clear drive to understand organizations and elevate them to an optimal level. In challenging situations, you act decisively and serve as a valuable bridge between different parts of the organization. You are independent and capable of supporting our clients in achieving the best results. 

Additionally, you have: 

  • At least a completed higher education (HBO) degree; 
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Agile Coach; 
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and/or Lean, and you possess the relevant certifications (e.g., PSM, PSPO, PAL-E, Lean Six Sigma, PSK); 
  • Experience in providing Agile and DevOps training; 
  • Experience in scaling Agile within an organization; 
  • Expertise in one or more of the following sectors is a plus: Finance, Public sector, Utilities, and/or Logistics. 
  • Type of employment: Hybrid Location: Nieuwegein, Netherlands  
  • Contract hours: Full-time

This is the practice that focuses on continuous improvement of teams and plays a key role in the further development of our High Performance Teams. In practice, we develop various training sessions and workshops that we offer both internally and externally. Think of topics like Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. We work on a well-stocked toolkit to ensure our colleagues and clients are well-prepared. There is also the possibility for you to take on the role of trainer or facilitator if you wish.
