A positive future for all – that’s what we at Sopra Steria work towards. With over 56.000 colleagues in 30 countries, we are Europe’s leading digital solutions provider. We believe it’s not only technology that powers transformation. It’s people who are at the core of change. That’s why it’s people that are at the heart of everything we do, excelling both independently and in a team.
The world is how we shape it. Let’s shape it together.
As an MS SQL DBA within the Microsoft SQL practice, you thrive on variety in your tasks and clients! You work within the MS SQL Server Specialist Group in a team setting. The team operates systematically, combining regular SQL Server management with larger projects. You dedicate your time to managing and monitoring a large number of databases for multiple progressive clients in government, financial services or industry. Additionally, you implement installations, optimizations, consolidations, and migrations, both on-premise and in cloud environments.
In addition to administration, tasks such as analysis, design, advising, and estimating the required effort for changes are also part of your responsibilities. The work is not limited to maintenance and regular updates and migrations; an MS SQL Server DBA evolves into an expert in all of these skills.
Sopra Steria Software Development Microsoft & IBM is the community within Sopra Steria where our colleagues utilize their expertise in MS SQL Server, Microsoft .NET, Java, and Technical Chain Management to support our clients in setting up, maintaining, and (further) developing their applications, including databases and middleware. Increasingly, cloud technologies such as Azure and development pipelines like Azure DevOps are being utilized in these processes.
In order to continue providing optimal support to our clients, we have embarked on an ambitious plan where everyone, whether you're a developer, database administrator, or service delivery manager, must be Azure-certified. This means ensuring that within your specialization, you can obtain certifications such as Azure Database Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, and Azure Solution Architect Expert.
