Customer Community Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract –)

Join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover and help us continue to build an exceptional customer experience! 

The role can be based remotely from Germany or Amsterdam.

Your Mission: 

  • Be a central figure in cultivating and maintaining an active, engaged customer community. 

  • Develop and execute strategies to strengthen relationships between customers and the brand through community engagement initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to align community-building efforts with overall company goals. 

  • Create opportunities for customers to connect through virtual and in-person community events such as webinars, workshops, meetups, and user groups. 

  • Lead the creation and management of an online community platform where customers can share best practices, provide feedback, and support each other. 

  • Encourage user-generated content, including discussions, testimonials, and case studies within the community. 

  • Organize customer insights, discussions, and helpful resources, for use both internally and externally 

  • Build programs to recognize and celebrate customer achievements, turning engaged members into brand advocates. 

  • Regularly gather feedback from the community to improve the customer experience and identify opportunities for new community-driven initiatives. 

Your Profile: 

  • Fluency in both German and English is a requirement.

  • A community builder at heart, with a passion for creating spaces that foster engagement and connection. 

  • Proven experience in managing online and offline communities, ideally in a SaaS, IT, or tech environment. 

  • Skilled at nurturing long-term relationships with customers to drive engagement and advocacy. 

  • Excellent communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally with different teams. 

  • Experienced in organizing and managing events that drive customer participation and excitement. 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure the success of community initiatives and their impact on broader business objectives. 

  • Creative thinker with an enthusiasm for developing new, innovative ways to keep customers engaged. 

  • Experience with community management platforms, Salesforce, HubSpot and/or Planhat are a plus.
